CELEBRACIÓN BAUTISMALES PARA NIÑOS IGLESIA CATÓLICA SAN OSCAR ROMERO
La Iglesia de San Oscar Romero, encuentra muy placentero celebrar el sacramento del Bautismo, especialmente en nuestra fuente bautismal. El requisito más importante es que las personas que traen a su niño estén dispuestas a comprometerse en la crianza del niño dentro de la FE católica. ¡Damos la bienvenida a todos los bautizados con gran alegría!
PREPARACIÓN:
Hay tres pasos en el proceso para el Bautismo.
El donativo para papas y padrinos será de $60.00 por niño
FECHAS Y HORAS:
BAPTISMAL CELEBRATION FOR CHILDREN ST. OSCAR ROMERO CATHOLIC CHURCH
St. Oscar Romero Parish is happy to celebrate your child/children’s Baptism, especially in our Baptismal Fountain. The most important requirement as a parent, is to bring your child and make a commitment to accept and raised your child in the Catholic Faith. We welcome you all with happiness and Joy!
ARRANGEMENTS:
There is three steps to follow in order to arrange a baptism.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Children must be 7yrs or younger
· If they are older than 7yrs—they must be registered in the cathequism program and attend to class on weekly basis, and be baptized during Easter Vigil.
· Godparents must be 18yrs of age or older
· Godparents must have the initial basic sacraments (Baptism, Communion & Confirmation).
· If the Godparents are a couple related, they must be married by Church.
· Parents and Sponsors must attend to a pre-baptismal class.
· Maximum of 2 godparents per child and they must be 1- female and 1- male
Baptismal Donation :
The donation for parents and sponsors is of $60.00 per child.
DATES AND TIMES:
· Baptism is normally celebrated in a group of 15 children or less. Every Saturday at 11:00am. On weekly basis from the month of May till September of the year. During the month of October, November, and December – only 1 Saturday per month. Dates are as schedule.
· If Parents and Godparents attended to a different pre-baptismal class they must bring a proof letter from the other church, at least a week prior to baptism date and time.

- El primero es Si usted vive en el área o está registrado como parroquiano – hable a la oficina para hacer una cita con el Padre o Diácono.
- El segundo es que los padres tienen que venir con el Acta de Nacimiento del niño/a para registrarse y apartar la fecha que quisieran bautizar.
- El tercer paso es asistir a una plática pre-bautismal. Los Padres y Padrinos deben asistir a esta plática. La plática se llevará acabo antes de la celebración bautismal.
- Los niños (as) tienen que ser menores de 7 años
- Si son Mayores de 7 años tienen que ser registrados en el programa de catecismo y ser bautizados durante la Vigilia Pascual.
- Los Padrinos deben tener sus sacramentos de iniciación cristiana (Bautismo, Comunión y Confirmación).
- Ser Mayores de 18 años
- Si los padrinos son una pareja tiene que ser casados por la iglesia.
- Papas y Padrinos tienen que asistir a la plática Pre-Bautismales
- Ser Parroquiano registrado o vivir en el Barrio de Las Empacadoras.
El donativo para papas y padrinos será de $60.00 por niño
FECHAS Y HORAS:
- Los Bautizos se llevan a cabo en grupo de 15 niños o menos, los sábados a las 11:00 am todos los sábados desde el mes de mayo a hasta septiembre, en las fechas que ya tenemos programadas. Mes de octubre, noviembre y diciembre – solo hay un sábado por el mes.
- Si los papas o padrinos ya han asistido a las pláticas tiene que traer su constancia

- The first step is to live in the back of the yards neighborhood or be a registered parishioner- call the parish office to schedule an appointment with our priest or deacon.
- The second step is parents must bring your child’s Birth certificate, this is for you to registered and saved the date for baptism.
- The second step is in attending to a pre-baptismal class. Parents and Godparents must attend to this class. The class will be taking place before the date of the baptism celebration.
